CSSA was developed over 30 years ago as a strategic alliance of independent telephone companies created to promote the development of rural telephone companies. Today, CSSA has grown to serve over 200 Members throughout 40 states.

Over the years one thing has not changed, our focus remains on Membership.  The mission of the Association is to deliver technology solutions that will enhance each Member's competitiveness. Through service excellence and continuous Member participation, CSSA has developed beyond traditional product distribution and now offers new benefits to Members such as centralized professional support services and technology training programs.
